Synopsis A Day in the Life of Wayne Lynch follows the one-time child star who divides his time between his quiet, woodsy house in Victoria and surfing alone-and brilliantly-in the deep water reefs nearby. A competitor from the age of ten, he won six consecutive Victorian junior titles, and the Australian junior title four years running between 1967 and 1970 before retreating from the spotlight and competitive surfing.

Lynch was regarded by many as the ultimate soul surfer. In talent and temperament he would in years to come be likened to three-time world champion Tom Curren of California.
