Episode Details
| Synopsis | Explore South Africa's wild and raw coastline, with Griffin Colapinto, Ethan Ewing, Seth Moniz and the Aether crew as they go off grid in search of uncrowded waves. Griffin's brother Crosby brings fresh energy from California, while pro surfer Grant "Twiggy" Baker shares his local knowledge and broader view of what it means to be a pro surfer. Having bonded through a year of filming, the crew is ready for their toughest challenge yet. Producing a Hollywood-level production with up to seven cameras going at once is difficult in remote locations. Making it happen from freezing tents, with no power, in often punishing conditions brings on a whole new level of complications. But as the swell pushes in, the boys have waves to completely to themselves from sun up to sun down. As they witness mining trashing the coastline and polluting the region, the crew catches up with Protect the West Coast, a group that calls out the miners in hopes of saving the coast from irreversible harm. |
