Episode Details
| Synopsis | Coming off Peru, the surfers and filmmakers are riding high. But as they head to Tahiti, they are reminded of the Outkast line that while you can plan a pretty surf film, you can't predict the weather… or one of the surfers getting sick. Down one surfer, pro surfers Shane and his son Jackson Dorian, join the crew in Tahiti. Making adjustments and waiting out the storms, the crew checks out the work of the Coral Gardeners ocean farm near Teahupo'o. As coral suffers from warming, local pressures and even microplastic pollution, the group fragment and grow coral, reinforcing local reef health. In the end, "Nothing brings a crew together like good waves." And whether things go good or bad, you are creating moments and growing stronger as a crew. |
