Episode Details
| Synopsis | In this episode our Angie follows the progression of the next generation of world class surfers from the micro grommet to the teenager and beyond. These super freaks spawn from all different races, colors, creeds and religions, yet all associated with one common goal to be better than the generation before them. We meet up with the leader of the next generation, Dane Reynolds, in his hometown of Ventura, California and take a first hand look as to where he and his crew are looking to take the sport. Also in this episode, we witness the world junior titles in Bali, an event which has become the platform to showcase the cream of the crop. Lastly, Angie catches up with five of the world's best young surfers who are setting off on a ten day boat trip through the Sumatran islands to live the dream. This episode is about evolution at it's finest. Be prepared to witness the explosive progression of the sport, as these kids continue to raise the bar of expectations. |
