Synopsis John Carper is considered to be one of the worlds top shapers. Through the years the JC Hawaii Surf Team was headed by top pros like Shane Dorian, Lisa Anderson and Peter Mel. John's decades of experience shows in this program which was know to be the industry standard for teaching surfboard shaping, design and theory for many years. Shaping 101 was the first surfboard shaping instructional film which taught surfers to shape world-wide since 1996. At 90 minutes, JC walks you through creating a finished foil ready to glass. John explains all the techniques of what he is doing. Graphics help simplify the teaching and surfing footage of the JC team is shown to explain rocker and template design.
